Spiritual Direction

Spiritual direction is a different kind of conversation.

A space to slow down and reflect on your life—
what feels present, what’s shifting, and what may be asking for your attention.

There’s no expectation to arrive with clarity.
No pressure to move toward a particular outcome.

We begin with where you are.

If something here resonates, you’re welcome to begin.

By spiritual, I’m referring to the inner dimension of your life—
your sense of meaning, your questions, and what matters most.

For some, that includes faith or a relationship to God.
For others, it may not.

You don’t need to hold any particular beliefs to engage in this work.

By direction, I don’t mean giving advice or telling you what to do.

It’s a shared process of paying attention—
to what is unfolding in your life,
and to what may be emerging just beneath the surface.

Not to force clarity,
but to notice what is already there.

To offer a bit more clarity:

Spiritual direction is a reflective, conversational practice.

It is not a form of psychotherapy, counseling, or medical care.

I do not diagnose or treat mental health conditions or provide clinical advice.

If you’re unsure what kind of support would be most helpful, we can talk about that together.

If this kind of space feels like what you’ve been needing, you’re welcome to begin.

Sessions are typically around 60 minutes.

We can meet in person or online.

Some people come monthly.
Others meet more or less frequently.

We’ll find a rhythm that feels right.

There’s no need to prepare anything in advance.

Individual

One-on-one spiritual direction.

A quiet space to reflect on your life at your own pace.

Couples

A space for two people to reflect together—
to listen more carefully,
and to attend to what may be unfolding between you.

Group

Small groups that gather around shared reflection.

A different kind of conversation, held in community.

Sessions are offered on a per-session basis. I’m happy to share details about cost and logistics when we connect.

You don’t need to decide any of this ahead of time.
We can begin with a single conversation.

A first session is simply a conversation.

You don’t need to know where it will lead.

You don’t need to have it figured out.

Just a sense that something in your life is asking for attention is enough.

If that’s where you find yourself, you’re welcome to begin.
